Use your custom SMTP settings
If you have your own email address (other than Gmail) with custom SMTP settings, you can use them to send unlimited prediction emails. If you don't know the SMTP settings for your email account,
ask your webmaster or hosting provider to help you with this.
Create an SMTP app password in Gmail
If you would like to send unlimited prediction emails from your Gmail account, you have to generate an SMTP app password for CubeSmith. Make sure you
enable 2-factor verification first, then follow the steps in the video.
In CubeSmith settings go to
PREDICTION - Email settings, scroll down to
Optional settings and enter the following data:
- Your email: Gmail address
- SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
- Server port: 587
- Security: TLS
- SMTP userid: Gmail address
- SMTP password: the app password you have generated (see video above)
If everything is set up correctly, you can send
UNLIMITED prediction emails from your own Gmail address.
